Lego Life

Wikipedia about Lego Brücke in Wuppertal.

"We all want to change the world."
Wouldn't it be a wonderful working hypothesis that the world, or even our lives are as flexible as Lego bricks?
At second thought: kind of scary, too.
Because I love patterns, rhythms, structures of everday life.
I am a man of habits.
Each morning, after getting out of bed I cook my coffee and feed the dog and after that the dog goes back to bed and I drink my coffee and read the news.
How much change - how much stability?

Bye bye, Posterous

Bye, bye Posterous
The final hour of Posterous is approaching. Posterous and Twitter were a wonderful team for some time. In social media it's not always the best concept that survives. Or: the best concept for users is not always the best concept for investors. Contrary to belief that was made popular: "Build a successful thing and people will come, stay and that will somehow pay the bills." So now we meet in this drafty concourse Facebook collars up and a hot cup of coffee in our hands. Or here in the Google realm that is not yet what Posterous once was. But we meet: and that is something I am grateful for. Have a nice May, all of you!
